The master and slave cylinders are Tilton units, and 17×9″ Ronal wheels with color-matched trim have been retained. The braking system features 13″ front rotors with Brembo calipers, as well as 12″ rear vented rotors. IMSA cars also received metal bushings, heim links, and adjustable ride height. The suspension features racing shocks and springs, as well as adjustable sway bars. An extended front lip can be seen on the lower edge of the front bumper. GM and SLP initially planned to collaborate on 250 Firehawks, though only 6 street cars were produced in 1991 and 25 in 1992.
